Hello, everyone! Em here. It has been awhile since we’ve last seen each other. And a lot has happened since January 2023. Just to name a few things:
1. The WGA and SAG Writer’s Strike of 2023.
3. Elon Musk rebranding Twitter to X.
4. Talks of A.I. taking over the world.
5. A new set of world leaders…including an American pope.
With all this going on, I also had a lot going on personally, which caused a lot of setbacks in writing and growing DIASH’s brand. With that said, I wanted to officially announce the following:
1. DIASH is an LLC!
One of those personal setbacks included moving to SC in 2022. Shortly after we settled, the papers were signed to make it official! The business side is still relatively new and we are taking baby steps, but this was a major jump in the right direction. Over the next year, we will continue building our business plan and goals into 2025.
2. Social Media
Instagram is still my only form of social media. For now, all of mine and Attic Buddy’s updates will come through there. I’m also looking to make my social media more interactive as well! In Linktree, we are adding a form for topic requests, where you can send submissions!
2. Moving to a podcast format
The formatting still needs to be mapped out, but during my extended hiatus, I’ve been messing around with the idea of turning articles and short stories into an audio format.
2. Music Promotion
We created a musical side project called Attic Buddy and released “Home EP” was during Summer 2023. It was recorded shortly before our move to SC, and is our first major release with all streaming services! Please give it a listen and share if you can. We want to continue creating more music and, eventually, visit a town near you!
